No Crust Racing
Vice grips were the way to go, could slit it wide enough to crack the loctiteNo idea in Perth sorry. That's terrible economy. I would be looking for fault codes and checking EGT and coolant temp sensors etc.PFC will be fine for a basic tune, but you may have an underlying issue. If you are happy with stock performance, then stock ECU should stay in. Over there they are using the correct fuel (100ron) over here we shove 98 in them throw and exhaust at them and a bunch of other crap so they basically spend their entire life on the knock map Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475220-r34-gtr-ecu-removal/page/2/#findComment-7888726 Share on other sites
No Crust Racing
My 33R was stock and it still averaged 300km per tank on 98 being driven by a hoon... 185k per tank is well into e85 land lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475220-r34-gtr-ecu-removal/page/2/#findComment-7888753 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Yeah, the fuel consumption shouldn't be worse than about 14 L/100km if you're driving it normally/sensibly.
