Vice grips were the way to go, could slit it wide enough to crack the loctite

That's terrible economy. I would be looking for fault codes and checking EGT and coolant temp sensors etc.

PFC will be fine for a basic tune, but you may have an underlying issue.

If you are happy with stock performance, then stock ECU should stay in.

Over there they are using the correct fuel (100ron) over here we shove 98 in them throw and exhaust at them and a bunch of other crap so they basically spend their entire life on the knock map
