Hello my fellow enthusiasts,

Just a quick message to let you all know that if you are considering to get a new AFM (air flow metre) because your old one has bitten the dust, i am able to get them repiared for you at a cost of $150ea, which is cheaper still than getting a second hand one that you will be taking pot luck with. hope this helps you.

Diggity.

yep this fix is on the platinum hotwire itself. just remove the mesh and be really careful. i spray electrical contact cleaner onto a cotton bud and gently remove all the crap. the wire can be easily broken!

im back to stock air box now cos on observation last weekend the wire is tarnished and i think its the oil from the uni filter (even though I squeeze it out etc as per instructions). i dont know what other pod filters are like in regards to this problem

as for the other electrical components in the AFM these are under some electrical jelly and i woudn't touch those

Z32 AFM on a R32 ecu will need some VQ map adjustment when doing a rechip

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
