Will an R32 Fuel Level Sender Unit work on A31?

Hey guys,

I was trying to buy a new fuel level sender for my A31, only to find out it's been long discontinued.  Any chance an R32 one will fit?  I'm wondering if it does that with the new R32 parts coming back into production, maybe this could be one of them...

Research the power it uses and the wiring.

Dont wanna wreck the fuel gauge if its to high in power.

I recon it should and if i couldnt locate the correct one would research to see.

They won't be re-making any R32 fuel senders any time......ever.

I ended up buying another used fuel sending unit and having it sent off to be rebuilt and refurbished like new somewhere in the U.S. I'll post up pics to see how it goes.  If all goes well, I'll swap the refurbished one in and do the same with the one in my car now and have that one rebuilt too.
