Everyone has their on and off days. I think the trick is to find a place you are comfortable with and keep going back there.

I got my previous car tuned at Procar in Dee Why twice and was the one that pointed them out to Bob.

They got a guy in to do the tuning of my car who has close affiliations with cosworth. He isn't just a nice guy that tunes the engine safely, he insists you sit in the car with him during the tune so you can ask questions and so he can ask you from time to time what boost, what power, what sort of reliability you are aiming at.

I've got another appointment with them when my GTR lands.

Heard that BD4's at Gladesville (not east or west or north, central I guess) had recently upgrade their Dynojet to run the latest Winpep 7 and the Dynojet is arguably the most accurate dyno in the world. All they use in the US is Dynojet, must say something. Friend of mine got his 33 GTST tuned last week and got 210kW at the rubber, only running 0.75 bar of boost on Optimax with EVC, HKS FCON V and HKS FMIC, HKS powerflow and exhaust and everything else standard. I guess that was quite all right. Only got charged $220 for tuning the HKS FCON, took about 3 hours.

someonestolecc - I think he is saying that that place but not that guy tunes turbo cars. There actually was an r32 GTR parked in front of the dyno when I got there.

believer - just cos the seppos do a lot of something doesn't necessarily make it a good thing. Not having a go at anything else you said though.

I think one of the owners, Tom. He had apparently been trained in HKS Japan to tune all the FCONs including FCON V Pro.

I just contacted the Unigroup abt what time do they open and if they work weekends, via email coz i couldn't get thru to them by phone, and i got this response:

Our weekday hours are 6:30pm-10pm and our weekend hours are 1pm-6pm

Saturdays.

No not at all weird, they work during the day aswell and tune at night I've always found it to be great as you don't have to have time off work to go there
