Hi bangahh how did it turn out with the front bar fitted? Can we get a pic...

looks very neat. How much did you pay fro the 180 degree mandrell bend? And have you used the mounts on the bottom on the intercooler to help give it more ridgidity?

waldo - did you paint the inside of the pipe as well ? I think I might try and paint the inside aswell.

I've seen several so-called heat-proof paints flake away quite easily too, and your cooler piping ends up full of slightly oil residue anyway, so i can only see it worthwhile painting the outside...

RowdyR32's old setup, before he put a RB26 in, looped in front of the radiator but that was the pipe feeding the intercooler NOT returning from it. Sure the intercooler has to sink a bit more heat but a 600x300x76 is pretty huge for a RB20, if you're not going too extreme, and the pipes just before the manifold barely got warm.

yeh cooler piping should work fine on 32gtst, just a case off looking trial and error with angles etc, remember to measure ten times cut/weld once. and front bar do a search man theres plenty of threads on it.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
