I'm interested in expressions of interest in my 1993 r33r impul 4 door skyline.

Currently registered in W.A. running a 2.6 for with single turbo pushing excess of 550hp (over 55k spent on engine), with in tank fuel pump feeding surge tank to 2 340lph inline pumps to engine. Running over 2000cc injectors, screamer pipe, full 3 1/2" ss exhaust system. Gtr brakes front and back. Twin plate clutch 5 sod manual box. Gtr seats and so much more. Very fast car. 245s front, 265s rear on custom rims. Full impul body kit and Debadged. Too much to list, prices over 20k will be considered. Very rare car as I'm aware only a 100 made and this is very unique build 66 of a 100. Any enquiries or more details contact me on 0477582361. Text only and if I can I will ring you.

Thanks

Dan

She's a little rough around the edges but I can get proof of money spent through the workshop that built motor, comes with tomei locker diff also. Running standard lsd at present as f**ked the pinion bearing in locker. Got coilovers all round, with adjustable dampening on dash. Genuine 1993 r33r impul and got tag on firewall and ashtray both confirming impul build 66! Got link ECU suitable to add ethanol sensor to adjust tune when running e85. Very fast car that goes well over 300kmh and gets there quick. But on the same note can be driven like a normal car totally anonymous to everyone around you. I was going to turn it into a Targa rally car but my wife has different plans and reckons time for me to grow up!!!

I will send some more pictures when I get home and let me know what you think. Cheers mate.

I will be heading over to where the car is later today and I will get some pics for you. Sorry been busy moving house.

And is the price 20K ?

Load up some pics please.

I put the car in the for sale section W.A. mate if you wanna have a look. It took me a while due to moving house, work commitments and seizing the locker diff to top things off!

I can move this into the for sale section, assuming your asking price is $20k

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
