Hello Gents, I've got a 32 GTR with a bit over 100K km on it. The body is quite rough with some chipped paint and scratches, mechanically its a lot better and sounds strong as well as pulling hard.

The last five years I've only driven it every couple of months and I'm looking to sell it.

My question is, do I spend money and time on it getting looking great or do I sell it as is?

Whats the market like? is it easier to sell a cheap car or a more expensive car.

I'm in Brisbane if that makes a difference.

Spend ~$1k getting it cleaned up as much as possible** and perhaps yield another $5k? Seems reasonable.

Spending anything more than that, hoping to yield multiples of what you spent seems much more risky. The car will sell regardless of condition. You don't need to clean it up at all and I guarantee it will move.

** Some brush touches on chips and a general go over by a detailer.
