dangerous_daveo
Remembering back to when I first got my car, all my mates were giving me stick about it being either a camry, or more so a taxi, as thats what they thought cefiros were. After a quick search, I found only one picture as evidence that they once were used as taxis (same site I found an evo3 taxi...) and that was in Arabia or somewhere anyway. So basically, does anyone have any other proof that they were once taxis??? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/51445-cefiro-taxi-or-not/ Share on other sites

Lukas
Cefiros' among other cars are really popular as taxis' in countries like Thailand and Indonesia. They are used by politicians and anyone else with a bit of rank. Sorry, it's sad but true, here's some pictures - Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/51445-cefiro-taxi-or-not/#findComment-1018275 Share on other sites

funkymonkey
ceffies are maximas... or altima's in england and thailand and saudi arabia etc. they came with the option of a RB24S carby engine, so it dosen't surprise me that they were used as taxis... the cefiro's you're used to are the top of the range models, but trust me there's poverty models that are real boats (just like R33's ). I'm yet to see a skyline used as a taxi in japan (well post R32 model anyways). They're used as driving school cars and fire warden cars and cop cars... haven't seen taxi yet.
