Hey James, typical MCCR style... half a day notice for an event :D Lonely Planet is a good meet point, Should be a big turn out. Might see you down there tonight

:P

Yeah I went down with Tim and Daz.. it was raining. Didnt see any official Hot4s photographers, was pretty much bullshit. hehe not a small turnout though, some of the LS1 boys showed up with the Vic street utes club. We got there about 6:55pm, and there was only a few cars.. 5mins later they all came rolling in! Filled the entire street on both sides, around 40-45 cars. So people came, parked their car, waited around for a bit, and then left. I also counted about 8 semi-trailers rolling in to the warehouse at the end of the street, looked like they were having their own mini-cruise :P lol Some loser was gettin all excited because Vicky showed up in her lil red rx7 series 3 (HERRXX) a.ka. MzRoToR on funkysexycool.com  "Omg UleH dats her!! omg, she wanted my email address!" hahah yee Ok buddy u can relax she has a boyfriend.. pfffft some people, so sad..

There was also a nice white GTR R34 there with plates NIS-R34. Me and Daz had a chat to the driver and apparently he just signed up with SAU Vic at Albert Park last weekend. Hopefully we will see him attending some track days and upcoming meets.

Summary: Another poorly organised, last minute notice event courtesy of MCCR. Luckily no cops showed up before everyone left.

haha nark true true...

lol matt i can see why that guy was hysterical when she turned up....she looks pretty damn fine in the pic on fsc lol.

Its a nice meet spot lonely planet and wasnt a bad turnout...too bad the weather put a damper on everything

The White R34 would be Nick. He came on the GOR cruise earlier this year. He also has an R32 GTR resprayed in Bayside Blue.

Yes, I know :) He gave us invites to the Bathurst Bash.. Show n shine, watching bathurst on a 4 meter wide screen, all day BBQ.. should be good!

... of course i remember...

i was just checking to make sure it was confirmed...

(can someone pm me the details... ie. where and when! lol)

    • With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.
    • Scissor Jacks are an accident waiting to happen, the only time they should be used are in an roadside flat, even then a tyre and rim should be placed underneath
    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
