I have the file sharing via Bittorrent.

I use Bittornado. If you don't have it Google it.

If you don't want to use Bittorrent... Stiff.

Bittorrent is an excellent fast way to share files.

Please seed (keep the window open) after you have downloaded and give what you have taken.

Torrent attached.

EDIT:

Setup your upload limit so that it is ~75% of your available upload bandwidth. i.e if you are on a 512/128 ADSL set the upload speed to 8-9kb/s.

Any higher and you will notice a speed drop in your download.

Once you have finished the download and are seeding set the upload speed to 95% of your available bandwidth.

Ensure you forward ports 6881-6889 if you have a dsl modem/router.

Yes.

I'm still fairly new with this torrent thing, I have just realised only people in certian states will be able to access the tracker.

I'm in SA.

If any one knows of a tracker that every one can access could you point me in that direction.

also, you have made an iso or something? it would be far better to just have all the individual files in the torrent, that way the other people that already have them can help seed...

Thanx Newkleer.

I'm new to it and have been fiddling around.

Its had a lot more interest than I anticipated.

There's also 5 nice people + me that have finished the download and still sharing.

9 People are still pulling it down.

are u using torrentspy to make the torrent?

u should be able to drag a whole folder, or multiple individual files to the exe and then itll create the torrent with all the individual files in it

perhaps u could ask silviansw about hosting it there?

http://www.silviansw.com/tracker/

The torrent isn't dead its still going now.

The tracker is limited to a few select ISP's that share bandwidth (known as PIPE).

This is probably why some cannot access it.

Ash,

If you can give me details of what I have to do to get it on your tracker i'll get it up tonight.

G'day Joel,

I was wondering if that was you on Torreztz :) I get a heap of stuff from that site, it's all free downloads for me ;)

For the people that can't get to it, the Tracker is limited to only people that are on the NSW Pipe. If your ISP doesn't use the NSW Pipe (eg. your in another state) you won't be able to access it....

J

Yer that would have been me.. Joelc.

I've only found it a couple of days ago. Definately one of the better trackers.

Essential, The link isn't dead. ;)

Victoria (PIPE/AUSIX/VIX peering, free for iiNet, Netspace, Westnet, Alphalink)

NSW (PIPE including Netspace, iiNet, Internode, Pacnet, WestNet)

QLD (PIPE including Netspace, iiNet, Internode, Westnet, TPGi, DataFast, Dart)

WA (WAIX including iiNet, Netspace, Westnet, Ararchnet)

Tasmania (including Netspace, Keypoint)

Canberra (iiNet)

Coming soon

A little snip from Whirlpool.

If you want the links you will have to head over to www.whirlpool.net.au.

I'm unsure of the legal side of things with posting the links on SAU.

EDIT: It appears if your ISP is listed in the above list then you will be able to access the pipe in that state. I'm in SA and am able to access the QLD and NSW trackers. My ISP is Internode.

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
