Whats the real story for this?

Someone just messaged me on MSN asking me if I knew anything. Was the first I heard?

I think the car was for sale, but he decided to keep it. I would have pittied the person who bought it if it's been caught up in this type of circle?

Anyone confirm reports?

Arrests after drug raids

SEVEN men were arrested after police drug raids in Brisbane today.

The raids on several houses in the suburbs of Carindale, Mount Gravatt and Carina involved Queensland and Australian Federal Police.

Police said the joint operation, part of a larger national crackdown involving the Australian Crime Commission (ACC), was designed to break up a drug distribution syndicate.

A Queensland police spokeswoman said drugs seized included heroin, cannabis and ecstasy.

Other property, including cars and houses worth almost $3 million, were also seized.  

The seven men would face 12 charges including trafficking, supplying possession and production of dangerous drugs, and possession of steroids and weapons.

A man and a woman would also be served a notice to appear at an ACC hearing, the spokeswoman said.

oh well - good stuff .. good to see the cops doing their work.

Well gives heed to the feeling that quite a few of the very top shelf cars around are profits from ill-gotten means. Don't have much respect for those that don't buy their own cars with their own money ;)

      Hi Experts, My father’s car Mahindra Jeep CJ500 2.5L, 1986 model. Currently registered in Overseas.  Want to replace the engine in Overseas with Mahindra Bolero 2016 2.5 L turbo used engine ( not endorsing new engine number on Rego paper in Overseas. Then Importing to NSW. Is this car eligible for NSW registration if able to submit all compliance certificates?   Regars.

      I know you said no amps in the boot, but there's enough space next to the battery for a pair of modern small foot print amps OR one small 6x channel amp. This is what I did over 6 years ago, used 2x marine amps (no decent 6x or 5x channel amps back then)

      That’s the one. Yeah, the seller has confirmed the base ECU is from a manual car.    To be honest, I’m only worried about the TCS light being illuminated due to registration here in NL - unsure on rules. Back in Japan, we weren’t allowed to have any permalit error-related lights (or so my shaken guy said).    Looks like this Nistune is the way to go then, appreciate it GTSBoy, and the others that chimed in.
