I'm looking for a cheap reliable run around for my Nephew.

He's a poor Uni student with $4K to spend on something that won't cause him (and me) grief. His old man is working away in Ireland at the moment and insists that I pick the car this time which means that I have to give the lifetime warranty.

As you'd imagine I'm keen to find something decent as a result

for 4k you could get a cheaper to run 1.6 litre Corolla or Hyundai or sumthin

Yes I'm trying to stay under 2 litre so it's more economical for him after his EA Foulcan

I have an 86 Corolla 1.6L 5spd 5 door with aircon ..FrontWD

I will be selling it soon, if required i will sell it sooner than later. Its in very good condition and has about 240k

Small muffler leak and thats about the only thing wrong.

probably sell for about $2600 as this seems to be the going price in the quokka etc. Very smooth to drive and fast for its age/size. Give me a hoot if you ever want to check it out
