This is the Hyperdrive 180sx as seen at Collie and Sydney Drift Nats. Is set up for those who are serious about drifting and the reason for sale is am looking to possibly upgrade to an S14/S15 platform purely for w/shop purposes and future publicity.

The body is in average cond with some previous accident repair( yes, we all know it was Bangers old car...)but looks good now.

This car is licensed with an RB 20DET and has permits for SOME of the mods.

Comes with std bonnet .

Car is licensed for 5mths

Car has been dynoed at 300rwhp at 15psi and is capable of more with bigger injectors etc.

Price is $17.5K with a new manifold fitted.Price includes a very good rate on continuing development, dyno and driver training for the successful purchaser.

Please realise that this is a loud, hard riding, police attracting drift weapon with an angry idle and a very oversteer orientated demenour that is tons of fun so I would suggest that if you are after something to drive to the shops or boglaps of Northbridge then maybe look elsewhere.

SERIOUS buyers only , please call me at work ( 9209 3100) or pm on this forum. I will post up pics later so don't ask for any to be sent.

Cheers

Ken

Yea, what he said above.

Seriously though, the car is still on the market sort of.

The RB25 box was sold to a desperate client but the RB20 box still lives and the new manifold has just arrived today. New teins are fitted and exhaust has been done.

Every time I drive it , I swear I don't want to sell it but the wife is applying pressure as the GTR is due next month :);)

Ring me at work if your serious but I DON'T want a rex, sorry.

Cheers

Ken

Plenty of enquiry but no fold yet.

Surely someone must want a serious drifter that is capable of winning any event in Australia in the right hands.

Even the Jap dude who drove it at Oran park last year ( on HPI 9 ) was well impressed with it.

If I don't sell I may have to sell the GTR instead :) :)

Revised price at top and have added new Teins, Cat back exhaust and 6 mths license.

Cheers

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
