If you really wanted to get some serious attention to this you would tell every club in adelaide fords toyotas gemini god even VW club. post the location up no pm and post the map up

make this huge

and do it weekly

maybe then they might see that most clubs/groups are more then just burnouts and drifting. And more a place to meet people and stay out of trouble other then

drinking,drugs,theft .

I only been on few cruises with sau but have found saftey to the public is always a high priority

Wot people think ?

Erin

I think this is a good idea we have been taking crap from cops for years and its about time they understand that we are not all bad and we are only having fun and trying to enjoy are cars if they didnt want us to have imports why are we aloud to bring them into the country and why do they sell thing that are a illegal to put on your cars.

yeah i was there too, the karnts blocked us off for 2 hours, i was gonna leave my car there but lucky a stupid ass cop left one exit and we all ran back to the cars and just got away before the cop sped up to try and block us off again. I love to stick it to the cops anyway i can, even if you wanna give me a tub off vasaline ill bend them over and show them what they can do with their batten

so who wants a pm,by the way it proberly wont do shit but hey its to prove to them it aint goona stop us if we could get a 100 cars like last wk them just maybe theyl think fck,hey in realatiy they can not waste all that tme every wk theres to much other shit going oon so who wants a pm

Yet another reason why I only ever gone on SAU organised cruises.

SAU memebers that attend are all competent drivers, and have enough common sense to keep things small and well organised.

About time people faced reality that things will only get more stringent if anything... adapt and overcome.

All the winging, "l33t sp34k", and "f### you cops" just makes them more determine and angry. Read the NS.com forums one day and you will realise why the Police are so out to get performance car drivers... people bragging about doing breakneck speeds and avoiding police... yep that is smart and great for the modified car scene!!!!!

/end rant

I would but my tyres (tread) are too low, so I will sit this one out.

fark them. The dirty pricks who pick on people for owning a nice car.

I hate the low life farkers, and I aint gonna stop saying it cos the oxygen theiving pricks might get uppity.

Perhaps they may realise that it is their attitude that creates the negative attitude of the public - they are out trying to defect cars while criminals are burgling houses and cars and they just dont give a rats arse - the police in SA are the biggest joke in the country. They need to pull their heads out of their lazy arses and start chasing real criminals instead of taking the easy option and just pissing honest taxpayers off.

If we all gave up the car game and just stole other peoples shit, we would be fine - maybe thats what we should all do? More profitable, and no chance of getting caught, cos the police dont bother investigating - they are out chasing dangerous criminals who modify cars.

Fark them.

/rant, feel much better.

copbait, I will come on one condition - you make it a cruise throught the city, on friday, starting at 4pm, down king william st, and I will break down (cos my car is so bloody dangerous and a menace to all) and they can organise tows for a couple of hundred people.

That would make em take notice, truckies did it, and it worked for them.

once again fark the dirty low life pricks who do this shit. They are just lazy, arrogant arseholes.

To all,

Posting up cruises and showing your strength by numbers will achieve **ck all.To start with everything thats posted on all club forums would and is read by the police, the police have already infiltrated se :how: :how: veral car clubs,so all your yar yar yar will get you now where fast!If you want to do something positive send emails to your local mp,minister for transport, minister for police, atterney general, and lastly get on the radio to leon byner, and tv with today tonite. This will prove more valuable than driving around thinking your going to save the word because you can drive in a big group!Better still would be to arrange a drive into town and park and lock your cars in front of parliament house completely blocking nth tce and refuse to move untill you get some answers from mike rann or minister for transport---but dont get me wrong you would need to be highly organised very secretive and have very big balls because the police would throw all sorts of shit at you to get you to move your cars. However it would make your point,it should get some tv coverage and you would also need a good speaker and negotiater to speak to the government.

Thats my two bobs worth...

Regards,

SKYLINE(Kym)......

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
