have fun bending cars fellas. Who on earth worked out that, that track @Morwell is good for drifiting? You get about a 1metre run off last time I was there.

(that is if we're talking about that uphill track)

it doesnt look that bad... theres a few good corners where u get a bit of room

nark do you want a trade plate? so you can drive it there legally and then drive it back legally? let e know and I'll bring one for ya skanky ass, as long as you pick me up and drop me off.

LOL ADZMAX if u knew anything about me.. u would know if i would come.. i  would come say hi to u first b4 u me.. lol

but no.. no im not going.. i have to work on my car this week end>>

Adz, his car is a VL... its built to go in a straight line... and occasionally sideways into poles, which is then deemded to be "ful-sik"

working on the car again?

8 months... one week and couting (while im driving mine around after 2.5months)

Yes, I'll be there. NDSOC have organised a cruise for non-competitors, leaving Hallam pub 9am. All welcome to join in.
Oops, that's tomorrow (Sunday) for a MSCA hillclimb event. Hadn't noticed there was a drift day Saturday.

Well yet again fate has spat in my face.

Monkey was unable to get the plates this morning and being slightly hung over i thought... meh... *** it then andwas going to go back to bed... but forgot i had made my gf get up at 6am and told her to be at my place early so we could leave... so rather than get a severe bashing i decided to quickly go down to the caltex which said they had one and that my car would fit.

so i rock up with the car and we try to load the car up... oh hang on... its too wide and too low and the ramps arent long enough for it to get on. YAY.

i started to feel better about it when it started to piss down with rain... but that only lasted 10mins and it cleared up :)

i hope the day was crap... lol

i dont wanna hear about how good it was :D

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
