Recommended Posts

Yes folks, I'm almost another year older! So I thought I'd invite those that know me (and can put up with my crap) along to help me celebrate getting older and more forgetful.

I'm past my 30's, but stuffed if I can remember "exactly" how old I am... so let's just call it my second 21st :)

Where - The Bombay Bicycle Club

When - "Next weekend!!!" ... Saturday 20th Nov 04 @ 7.30pm (or 1930hrs for those military types) *My b'day is actually the next day (21st - funnily enough) so if we stay out long enough it all works out lovely! How ghey did that sound! haha.

Apologies for the late notice everyone! If you can't make it, that's ok... I'll understand. And I'll make sure to take you off my Xmas card list hahaha.

To Matt (and others)

I'm sorry Sue and i will be unable to attend the B.B.C. to celebebrate your birthday next sat. nite as i'm already booked to do the derny racing at the velodrome for the welcome home "athens" nite.Dont worry too much 'bout the thirties i cant even remember them and even the forties are getting haysy-but that what comes with getting wiser(i didn't mention older!

Have a great birthday, celebrate and all be safe!!!!

Regards,

SKYLINE (Kym).....

Aw, C'mon Matt, you're not THAT old! (not 2x21=42 anyway)

Wife's family in town this weekend, so I may just need an escape!

Thanks for the kind words guys :P

No prob's Tim, Matt, Kym, Joel and anyone else who would come but can't. It was one of those last mintue notice kind of things anyway... so there's no expectations :D

Yep guys, partners are most welcome! I've got a few other friends and their partners coming so the more the merrier... be it for a few drinks, or many :D

Yeah true Will... and I act like a 16yr old most of the time hahaha.

Thanks Stu and Hip :)

Cool Andrew! We'll see you two there then.

Hope John and yourself have a good one in Melb Erica  You're gonna miss the Classic Adelaide! Bummer dudette :(

Talking of Classic Adelaide (or is it the other way around?) a few of us are keen to go so we should tee something up. Anyone keen?

G'day Matt,

Ooooowaaa..... who's the Birthday Boy!!

The 20th just so happens to be my 1st wedding anniversary :inlove: and we've booked in at Enzo's Italian restaurant for dinner that night....bugger, I even suggested we book the BBC for our big night but we decided otherwise (Enzo's is one of our favourite places)!!

I'd love to help you celebrate your big day :bananaman but we'll have to see how things pan out on the night, so I won't go making any rash promises I can't keep. I mean.....you're just down the road and around the corner!!

If we don't make it, have a great night and I look forward to catching up another time.

Cheers :) ,

Mike

G'day Mike,

Thanks mate :P All the best to you both on your 1st wedding anniversary! I hope you and your wife have a great night at Enzo's! No pressure to make it down for a drink either mate... just make sure you both have a fantastic night.

    • Yea I could, but it is amusing how shit a stock seat and belt are
    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
