Should i go this colour?

Recommended Posts

about to put new paint on the "Stace Racer". Was going to go with the factory colour until i saw this R34 GTR colour. Keep in mind i am using Nismo LM GT-4 rims in bronze and going the clear indicator look. Does anybody know what it is called, and what the paint code is. Thanks in advance.9881137-3715_IMG-med.jpg

Just be a little careful of the colour codes given out on the forums. I wouldnt want to go spending bulk money to get it sprayed, and then ending up not being the right colour :)

Maybe PM one of the guys on Skylines Down Under? Or the Pro Spec website?

A few of the people on those forums/sites have the NUR edition cars in that colour. I'm sure theyd be able to give you the code directly off the plate.

Best of luck...

Which is why any good panel shop would do a test to check the colour is correct before spraying the car

Yeah Blitz, nothing like using a bit of good ol common sence is there. I would have just got the whole car sprayed and checked the colour when they were finished. lol...

These are some colour codes that I have found durin a brief search:

KV2 - Silver

WV2 - Pewtar

GV1 - Black

QM1 - White

QX1 - Pearl White (3 layered pearl)

EV1 - Yellow

AR2 - Red

LC2 - Midnight Purple

Can't guarantee accuracy though :)

thank you nx, hows the car going. Sounds like a bit of a weapon.

No probs. I am still looking for the code for the blue/purple R34 colour. Don't even know the name. Car isn't going yet, but I will be paying it a visit tomorrow and will get an update on it then. Weapon? I hope so :)

The R34 blue is called Bayside Blue (TV2) and the purple is Midnight Purple III (LV4).

    • Thanks Mate, I did know you could do that but i know there is a pump out there that you can bolt on and it all lines up. I was told about it and then forgot the model, I figure if i am pulling it apart i will just put a new one on
    • You can also remove the veins from the HICAS portion of your existing pump.
    • Trying to swap the rear subframe on my R34 and can't remove the L-shaped stay brackets between the front subframe mounts and the sill/chassis. I'm in the UK so rust is a problem. I've used loads of WD40 and then Tunap 103 for days beforehand. I backed off the bolts forward a bit, backward a bit repeatedly for ages to try and avoid snapping. They have all moved a few full turns. The one I've spent most time on has come loose and I can turn with fingers, and it will pull down and push up 2-3mm. But it won't come out. I can tighten it back up and loosen it off again repeatedly but it still won't come out. I assumed there's a captive nut inside but if that's broken loose then I can't understand why I can always tighten the bolt back up - I'd expect it to just spin both ways. Any ideas what's happening here? I can't visualise what's inside there to cause this.
