I only drive like a girl on the straight line thing, at least I did until 2rismo showed me how to punish the car with a good burnout and then Mr Heli showed me to giv it more revs on the take off. I drive better at circuit will smack you at that.

PS Theo you on deck 17th and 18th Jan as I might come say hi and see what you are doing as I will be in Brissy?

Johny the only way to leave the start line is the rev limiter 9350 in my case. Burnouts thats easy hit the limiter in 3rd and step off the clutch hold it on the shift light 8200 let the brake off and see you at half track. 17 & 18 i will be here have to take you for a drive, bring your hard hat

You mean there's MORE TO IT than just driving for a quarter mile?!?! I'm shocked! :D

don't be suprised if we lose the lot

No-one's answering at Cabin and Johnnie B's mobile is off. Come on theo, give us the good oil.

Driving like a girl is better than just talking about it.

PS I called in to see Theo last week up in sunnyville and saw his beast, on the hoist at least. Things are really gearing up for a big year of motorsport. I will be hitting it hard and doing lots more to the slot car so come on and hav ur go and get off the fence, it is too crowded.

Are you offering a bunk, buddy?

Adrian

Fatz. Put your beer down and Drag, Drift and Circuit is the go although Circuit overall is the most fun and best challenge. Circuit you can get to do all three at the one event. All good fun though.

27th feb ....john oran park south circuit

i think you should come down for a bit of turning m8

once these drag queens suck you in they can change a man into a straight line light beer drinking *****!.... have a look at buster!

23 th feb wakefield if you need a hit.. ill take you out for a drift mate

I always need a hit although the slot car has engine out and getting full cage put in and won't be ready for a few months and ready for when it is not so hot either.

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
