I'm thinking the reading is a bit high, as a month or two earlier, same mods except 14 psi, i got 219 at Fuel Inj Services, in Belmont.    who knows..?

Yes, we did get an ear bashing. What was he talking about anyway?

219rwhp sounds about right for the car, you don't need much to go quick in the s13's and thats enough power to run 13s easy in your car.

Guys, its simple really. If you want feel good #'s so you think you have a big HP monster, go to Myaree Dyno, if you want the most accurate # you can really get go to Genie(because u can only turn a 3 ton concrete roller so fast). If you want good basis # that you can compare with pretty much rest of australia(which id a Dyno Dynamic dyno #) then go to PSi or Formaz... and both have a 4wd dyno. Or if you want something special go to Speedworks for the Dynapack dyno(but involves taking rims off and lotsa work etc)

SST Anyone ??

They looked after the Silvia WA guys.

I went to a dyno day at PSI and they boosted my car WITHOUT asking me. They boosted it no less with a t piece tube. Then to add insult to injury left the t-piece on my car WITHOUT telling me. I drove off and the car was overboosting. Pulled up and discovered the T-Piece.

Go to PSI if you guys want but it is at your own perril ........

SST dyno reads the same as PSI anyhow .... REAL FIGURES.

Oh and another thing, we almost died watchin the dyno runs at PSI. PSI has no extractor fan and the workshop filled with exhaust fumes. Cough Cough :(

The screen was excellent though. Were ever u go, orginise that !!

should be HAD no fan.

It was pretty bad though. Not only is it well ventilated now, but they have actually moved to diff location. And newer Dyno.. (as mentioned)

Summoner.. i actually went to Myaree cause it was the only one that i could book at an hours notice, was cheap (50 bucks for three runs).. and he printed the A/F ratio on the dyno sheet, so i could see that i wasn't leaning out too much in the top end.

I needed to know the a/f before i took it down to the Plex that night and thrashed the hell out of it.

but.... that said, to anyone who didn't know better, it does bring a smile to ya face.

righto

Rob u call and organise for a mid december weekend day at speedworks.

post a new thread in events when u have all your details and we'll start taking names.

if you say your in and forget to show without a valid reason poor form and it makes it alot harder for us to sort these things in the future as a poor turn out, after much hype from the guy organising it can get the tune shops off side.

also we can organise another in late janurary as that date sounds like it suited the other two shops anyway.

settled after rob has details posted i'm closing this thread.

    • Do they always do it from the AFM? If so... You know what I'm already thinking I reckon...
    • The other problem is that the pan is on an exchange basis, which would be a pain to have to send original sump to Oz for the work to be done. Would ideally need to be able to pay for a locally sourced core. To that end - I'd just fabricate one outright.
    • Not at all, pure street use, touge, even drag strip and you'll be fine   There's a larger version of it too, however would be overkill for your application. If you do plan on using that sump, might as well fit a headdrain/crank case vent to help alleviate crank case pressure. Your mechanic will also notice you cannot re-use the AWD windage trays on the motor too, as it fouls with the AWD -> RWD sump. However given your usage, you'll be fine.
    • @GTSBoy yeah but the MAIN problem is that "you" guys may know that but i/my mechanic did not. I literally spend hours to find differences between Stagea and Skyline engine (even here) and found kinda "nothing" Yeah one guy mentioned that the block is larger/wider but nothing about the oil pan. Of course AWD has different one but "everybody" says...yeah just slap RWD pan... and the parts number for my N/A engine and NEO DET were the same so iam using one from my old engine. And of course being in EU/Czech many of the sites did not even show(i need VPN to be here)... @MBS206NO it is not my channel and not my video. Dont even know the guy. I just post this as a reference cuz i have the same problem. As i said you guys in AU/NZD may know this but here it is kinda a new info cuz IF someone doing this swap they already have oil pan or they make custom one.  @Dose Pipe Sutututu Yeah it is AWD RB25DET NEO Yeah as you mentioned the pick up is in a different place ...but i do not drift or track the car. It is and will be strictly street and just "casual" weekend cruiser. With that "custom" pan as shown in the video...could there be some problems?  For others. Iam sorry if that topic "looks" like i want to show/boost some YT channel or numbers. Iam quite the opposite.  I would rather drive my car thru sewers than get the attention that this car gets here. I do not have any YT channel nor IG/Twitter or TikTok. I just want some info from time to time cuz here...there is none :-)
