its 2 at most places, and those that have special conditions like my work give you only 2 a year that are without a certificate.

well my work gives me no sickies and no holiday pay im on a contract so i get paid by the hour and what work i do complete, that way i earn more but it kinda sucks no holiday pay or anything.

With the guys at my work, if you have more than 2 consecutive sick days you need a certificate, but if you also have a sick day after a weekend, rostered day off or a public holiday, you also need to provide a medical certificate.

Never hand any untaken leave back at the end of the year. Some of it doesn't accumulate Like special n sick leave. I am not aware of any company that pays ya more if your never off work.

Never have a sickie if your sick it's a waste - go to work! Infect others...lol

Certs are usually if your sick more than 2 days consecutive so go back to work on the 3rd day.

My mum's work had a thing where if you didnt take any sick leave in a 6 (i think it was) month period, you would get a bonus and she did it and got paid like $200 or something?

I had like a week off sick (actually sick) and they didnt want anything. Infact they said DO NOT COME IN!!! Because they didnt want to get sick! Bloody tops I thought!
