i might come on this if some gold coast ppl want to meet somewhere closer/user friendly, as i barely know where im going around here. As for UHF's **Thinks back to noosa cruise** Cyrus: My fuels not gay Charly: The fuel gauge Cyrus: My fuels not gay Charly: THE FUEL GAUGE Cyrus:....ok you get the point.....all those who were on this cruise know what im talking about

I think we've all learnt by now that Cryus should not be allowed to be in control of the UHF. At any time. Maybe he can start off by being in control of a small ball of some description, and progress from there when he's shown he can play with the ball without spamming constantly!@#!@$

looks like i wont be going

Pfft.. sif your one...

As to bp coomera.. hrmm.. if we are meeting there I suggest a total of 10 min, everyone clear out.. I dont really want my car to be marked yet, if you get my drift. bp coomera brings back too many memories....... ie. the one where the DOT ute turned up..... :)

yatala bp or the aussie place is fine for me and 7:30 sounds good....... :/

Agreed... I thought he was getting better but the xmas lights cruise brought all the bad memories flooding back...

I think the gold coast people need to decide on a meeting spot! Or I'll make one for you  Yatala Pies at 7:30 leaving at 7:45. There ya go, head up the freeway, take the gateway motorway exit, follow along until you get to the Wynnum Road exit. Turn left at the bottom onto Wynnum Road, follow along until you see a big shopping centre carpark on the left, turn left at the intersection with the BP and Red Rooster at opposite corners. Turn second left AFTER the first set of lights and that's the Bunnings carpark.

There you go, all done. I might meet you's at Cannon Hill, depends on Andrew.

I mapped out an exact route and meeting times/places and you gold coast people still can't organise yourself. What's the difference between meeting in the yatala pies carpark rather than the bp carpark. I'd prefer the yatala pies carpark, less attention from prying eyes.

Stop saying other locations or you are going to confuse the **** out of people and there is going to be 3 main meeting points on the gold coast for people and no ones going to turn up cause everyone will go to a different spot and be there alone.

how long is the cruise gonna be?? am i likely to need multiple tanks of fuel?? if so i might be outties

This is not a cruise.

This is a meet and greet/ Photo opportunity.

We may trave somewhere, but it's not a "cruise".

looks like i wont be going

I said don't bring Skanks! :Pimp:

So technically you can come if you are a Skank and you drive yourself!

Just dont bring any with you. :P:(:)

This is a joke and is not meant to offend anyone, skank or otherwise.

ill see if my mate can come take some mega high res photos

see what happens...

probably have to storm carindale carpark if we do for adequate lighting

either way there will be video :)

btw, am i allowed to bring a mate whos got a hilux with rb20det in it?

depending if its on the road or not, and weather or not i can controll him

he goes a little crazy sometimes :burnout:

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
