0-100 in 6.6 sec, not bad for a factory stock Auto. There is a lot of tuning possibility with this car.

The car was owned by me and imported to Australia as a personal import last year directly from Japan. Finance and warranty available..... this is a genuine sale so please only inquire if you are serious. All details can be supplied to potential buyers, so please PM me if interested.

$32,000 neg.

That is so nice mate, I would snap it up if it wasnt so far over ($10,000) my price range... =(

Good luck with the sale, I've seen pics of this car on the net somewhere before - I can't remember where though... Very clean car and extremely rare and this is going below what some other people are asking for the same car with higher kms and what not.

Thanks for the kind words..

I have posted the car on a couple of sites, so you may have seen it. Its currently in Sydney with a friend who is taking care of the sale of it and having it detailed for me etc. I think its priced for a quick sale, I have seen another bone stock one with higher K's that they want 38K for.

Cheers...

Should have also mentioned that the car is completely prepped for registration, all that needs doing is the rego payment to be made. There are no import issues to be overcome with this vehicle as it has all been taken care of....

Car must be sold as I have already bought a replacement and I need to recover the money thats in this one....

Cheers...

dude, very nice car...but IIRC '97 Autos were still 260ps, wasn't till late '98 did the Auto have 280ps.

Looks like there are now 2 in Aust, a mate is also selling his. Good Luck with the sale.

MFG specs show as 280, so thats what I am going off, Id be more than happy to Dyno it, either way, it has a lot of power and it hasnt had much in the way of mods, If a KS Rom was installed it would instantly have 320 HP... Not too bad I supose... anyway, I really just want to sell the car at the moment, as I have just bought my next toy, an R34 V Spec II... :)

Hey matey, nice set of wheels, just one question, why does it cost so much? Just came back from nz where you can buy a 98-99 model for about $14000-$17000also with either leather / recaro interior

Unfortunately this car is not currently available as an import to Australia, or at least nobody has done one as a test car as yet under the SEVS scheme, regardless, the car is priced accordingly against likely comparisons.... Im sure that you can buy almost any car cheaper in NZ since NZ has such open import laws!!

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
