R33 Coil Pack Mixup - Can i Change the Loom

Hello everyone, i have jsut purchased a set of splitfire coils from Nengun in japan, and found out that they not the right ones for me late 95 R33 engine.

Aparently it uses series 2 components.

So therefore was wondering if i coudl maybe just change the wiring loom over to series 1 and still will work fine.

And if so where u recon would be able to get my hands on a loom ?

Probably more work than it is worth - not only is the loom different but the S1 engine has a seperate amplifier pack (mounted on the rear of the cam cover - you'll see 4 empty mounting points on yours) which you'll also need. The coil driving circuit in the ECU may also be different - not sure on that one - if so then you'd need a S1 ECU as well.
