emailed him late last night and got a reply today saying "its very unusal for it to take this long to arrive, and he would suss it out and geet back to me tomorrow" fingers crossed all works out.

Keep me posted on how you go - there may be genuine reasons and we will give them the week to get sorted; but hell, it doesn't take much to email people back and say hey I've some problems. If you take peoples money to supply a product that you don't have, then that's not great business sense. I'll keep you up to speed if I ever get my gear

yer couldn't agree more mate.... yea anything that happens or is worth mentioning keep each other posted. cheers

theres no malabar st in roxburgh park

Well that says it all - fake address, no phone listing, bugger all email contact:

Come on guys, someone out there must know where this mob live:

They've used the name "Online Motor Options" - the contact Theresa Holt.

May have also traded as HorsePower Kings"

Had an address of:

10 Malabar Street Roxburgh Park Vic

They have been removed from eBay - that's at least a plus

Come on guys - let's find these characters and get people back their money or goods for which they have already paid.

I'll say one thing though, if you're using the e-mail facility on e-bay...it's 100% dodge, I never receive confirmations etc etc and always have to include an instruction for the sellers to contact another e-mail addy, it's that bad.

As for Australia post losing things...don't get me started on that issue. The most recent thing has been with our mail being redirected to a PO box...now anyone sending stuff to our home addy gets it returned to sender, even though it's a valid address.

I've got things being sent by friends and it's taking months for it to arrive, so I know some of you guys would be getting edgy about strangers sending stuff, but just remember Aus Post is useless at the best of times.

doesn't e-bay have a provision where you send the money and they send the goods and they are both forwared on when both parties have fulfile there part of the deal??

As for paying total amounts on unseen goods, thats just stupid. put down a 10% deposit and they have to hold it for you. Especially if the goods aren't in the country.

if your not happy, go and get your money back. if they don't want too hand it back, put small claims onto them.

my 2c

I recently purchased an Intercooler kit on eBay through Online Motor Options - the email contact has the name Theresa. I have received the Intercooler but I'm still waiting on the piping some 4 weeks since I paid for the kit. Is there anyone out there who can give me some contact details (phone number, location etc) of this group - Online Motor Options so I can find out what's going on.  Any details appreciated.

PS: More than happy with the quality of the Intercooler although getting more than a little worried about delivery or lack of delivery of the piping, hoses etc.

Please help if you have any contact details

Well guys - just to let you all know that I have still not received my piping from this Online Motor Options group and today will start the legal process. Be aware that a person was recently jailed for 18 months for advertising something on eBay that they did not have and accepted the money from 3 buyers. This is a very serious offence to take peoples money and not supply what you paid for. Be careful - both sellers and buyers.

they also have the highest rate of sales of all internet sites i would say...

I have just received an email from a mate involved in a Commodore web group saying that they have a couple of fellows who paid for an Intercooler kit from this mob and haven't received anytthing yet. Sounds like Police or Consumer Affairs is the next port of call for these mongrels if they don't come to the party.

    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
