This place has been dead for years, everything died out around 2013 in the Tasmania forum. Lots of us still owning/driving/racing skylines, but pretty much everyone has moved to facebook groups etc. f

Would love for it to become a thing again, although I know that's unrealistic. I really dislike facebook groups. I try to post on SAU when I have news about my build etc.

This came up in the Stagea area, is pretty cool.

It has a range of wheels you can select from and displays what it looks like on your car. Has every model skyline and stagea and all sorts of stuff.....

Start be selecting "Type Of Car" under the orange online shopping logo, then model, then select a wheel, and press "check fitting image.

my racing and painting days are over for 2008 :(

with compliments to a rather sharp piece of galvanized steel i am down 3 fingers on my left hand - good news is that the are being stuck back on the end of my hand as we speak, and fingers crossed (pardon the pun) i will be able to start using my hand again early in the new year ;)

now i realise that this topic may only be interesting to a very very select few of you, but those who are into that kind of thing, i have some pics of the damage :(

      It seems to happen only when moving not stationary. It happens more frequently when reversing and turning steering wheel to the right. I MAY have found what the sound is and if it’s that I will feel so dumb since it did start happening around when I put 18” wheels. I attached the image of where there’s a scraping line to that plastic liner and the other side does not have that.

      Is it a noise that if you turn the wheel, and hold it turned to the right, the screech continues? Or does it only occur while you're moving the steering wheel? Does it occur when stationary turning the steering wheel from centre to the right?

      I want to also note I did lift the tire and checked for any play to see if it was a bad tie rod. It doesn't move at all.

      Any insight will help find the issue. When I do a sharp turn to the right I hear a screeching sound coming from the front. It only happens turning Right and not Left. Steering fluid seems okay. Not sure what this part is(picture) but one side seemed "wetter" than the other. All bushing from a quick look did not seem damaged. I'll do a better look but wanted to ask here in case it helps me troubleshoot faster.

      Nah, they'll do it without a receipt, tell em roughly when it was, that it was cash, youll likely only get store credit, but that gets you some dollars towards the newer better shovel, or other item you need/want later.   Still take it back and have a crack at returning it.
