... and now for some empirical evidence.

i used to own a bitsamissing prancer (how embarrasing:( ) .. anyway.. i did the following mods and reaped amazing gains:

1) i placed a ralliart sticker on my front windscreen - instantly my handling was better.. i couldnt believe it.. and i took 5 seconds off my quarter mile time of 19hrs and 20 seconds. wow.. i was truely impressed...

2) i took the muffler off and put on some try hard non- sports exhaust. - wow.. again i couldnt believe it. my launches were now amazing.. i dragged a ferrari and beat i by about 100 car lengths (if only that car wasnt parked on the side of the road!)

3) i painted the windscreen wipers white.. oh my god! this made my car wipers move really really fast... plus it made chicks stare in awe at how kewl i now was.

4) a added an LED rear brake light to my rear window. now this was really worth the dosh.. u wouldnt believe how much better my brakes were. my braking distance reduced from 120 metres to only 60 metres.. it was truely amazing.. apologies to little timmy and his red bicycle for that unfortunately little hitty hit hit#.

just look... now these are REAL performance gains. u guys talk about your (hahaa...) fmic's, fancy sports exhausts... and for what??? all u need is a few stickers, a can of paint and an LED rear brake light !!!

#= actual event was created during period of slight delusion, rather know as being diagnosed clinically insane.

"bitsamissing" it took a couple of seconds, but i eventually got it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH i was laughing for ages after reading that. Ur post is THE funniest i've ever read. Mate, that was some funny shit.

hahahhahahahh....ahahhah...hahhah..........aaaahh.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
