Just saw on the Nengun homepage that the genuine laptop tuning software is now available from Apexi. Only $500 too. Hopefully it is the complete version that lets you access all of the hidden parameters.

hmm.. my bet it won't be - but you would think with the amount of people around the world with skylines, and other vehicles running the PFC they would. And the US market, which is big for Apexi now there would be a need. It's not as if you're translating massive lines and lines of text into english either - just damn labels!

Quite interesting. Probably bit expensive for the amateur, but if more workshops can get hold if it at a relatively cheap price it's a great thing. Guess they realised everybody was pirating it all anyhow, and this way you can get the proper cable easily.

I've sent Nengun an e-mail to ask whether the software is in English. I don't think they would sell it if it wasn't since their main market is outside Japan. I'll report back when I find out.

Yes it is an Apexi product. It is in Japanese, It connects to the commander port and then to your pc/laptop via serial and you plug your commander into the dongle, is this correct? Yes
