Can people post up their best lap times. Any track. (Don’t forget the Nur :aroused: )

List:

Track (Reverse/Normal)

Car

Mods (Include TCS/ASM)

Tyres

Wheel or Keypad (With the wheel include wether your settings are on Amateur/Pro/Sim)

It’ll be interesting to compare our times. Don’t cheat it’ll only work if everyone is honest.

Thanks.

We have this on another forum I use. As its a Ford Forum we have agreed to using Escort Cosworth, arcade mode, Nurburgring. We just post our times up from that.

There is a link on that site to a Japanese guy doing the ring in 4.54mins in an F1 car!!

My best in a skyline is about 8.00mins!

my PB at Nurburgring in a GTR R34 N1 with exhaust, chip and suspension setup does a 8:10 min so far.... but i agree with that if there is gonna be a time attack comp, we need to set a standard.

Since it is a skyline forum, i think we should probably stick to a stock GTR of some sort.

Yeah i think Archie is right.

Lets stick to Skylines on the Nur, how bout just stock factory models R32,33,34 Gtr's and Gts-t's and version wise the VSpec II the highest you can go. No driving assists no mods and sport tyres? (Basic factory specs)

I guess the times can only be comparable to specific models.

I got a 8'01.104 on with Nurb with a Stock 400R, but that was when I wasnt used to it so I could do alot better now.

I got a 7'35.664 with a stock RUF CTR yellow bird (Hard car to drive on nurb).

and I got a 6'52.288 with a 535PS R33 GTR N1 (over 700 PS now so I could kill that time)

Tsukubas best time is 49.398 with the GTR N1.

NO Driving assists are used ever.

got 7'10 with r32 calsonic and racing soft tyres. hmm....how about we start comparing times and start off with a stocker 32 gtr in arcade mode with street soft tyres and move up to the next model next week. so every week theres a champ who gets "glory" and gets their mug superimposed on the face of schumacher or something?? LOL.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
