I think it's that's Giant Wing on the back of the car.... :)

I'm thinking they couldn't work out why a shopping trolley was at maccas... :P hehe

I'm still buzzing from that cruise. That was my first Skyline cruise. :P

One thing that stands out in my mind is the sight of 20+ Skylines on Pennant Hills road. All those round tail lights. The night echoing with PSSCCCHHTTT'S. Felt like

something out of a movie. I actually turned off my stereo. The sound of all the cars was enough music for me.

Despite the rattle inducing bumpiness of that twisty back road that section was actually quite fun. I loved the noise. Coming up to a tight corner, I'd be going down through the gears and then I'd hear the blow off valves of the cars behind me, one by one doing the same thing. Truly amazing.

I wish I had had a video camera.

Generally the whole cruise was good. The group that I was with were nice and sedate once we hit Newport (good thing), all the way through to Palm. But then at Palm these idiots in Commodores came through, rev'ing and generally being di(kheads. One then proceeded to be really f'ing stupid. Anyway, that made us head back to Newport. If anything I think those idiots made the cops just that much more suspicious of us. No matter what you do it looks like some moron will spoil the fun.

Anyway, thanks again to the orgainser of this cruise. :P

As for the next cruise :)

Track Day anyone???? :D

And as far as windy roads go there's some great ones on the central coast... heaps windy and 80kph unless they've dropped the speed... i mean you might even have to use ur breaks on the corners??? (probably not)...

And yeah soz about the technical ****up with the camera... I think i'm getting a new camera... ($%$#%!@ sony $@#@#$ memory stick @#$@#$!!)

But yeah... bigger meeting point, and I rekon what we should do is get to somewhere and line up all the cars (actually get some ppl to direct the drivers so we don't have 3m gaps between the cars) and take a few photos... (case of how many skylines can we get in a photo and even colour coordinate it)

Guys that was an awesome night... GREAT turn out, and besides the whole "I'm a wanker copper on a power trip" incident at maccas, all went smoothly...

I heard the only casualty's where Liz with her little bumpage on the way to the meet point and something about some people goin thru a red light?...

Anyway, thanks to all for coming, sorry i didn't really get to meet you all... I'll have to have a sit down and thing about planning another eh...? :D SImon's got some good suggestions there I can take into account :)

Cheers guys,

And if anyone has pics... POST EM UP!!!! :)

Bu5ter yelling at Shan while he had a nap on the side of the road: Priceless

If only we had a digi cam! The first time I "met" Brett he was threatening to smack me one, and I thought there is no way this mountain man is getting within 5 km of me.. hehe. Scary much!

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
