I had the same symptims once, and it turned out to be a coil pack.

One of the little springs between the coil an the spark plug was missing and the coil pack oxidized in the shaft.

I took out the plug and cleaned it with WD40, replaced little spring and all was good!

sweet so it may be a boost leak just out of curiosety were was ur leak and another Q theres to metal lines comming offthe ceramic intake pipe windering were they go do they go into the charcoal canister or were else lol soz im new to these rb20s
They probably go to a charcoal canister. And they probably are what is causing your boost leak (if they're not connected to anything)!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
