sorry didn't read first post closely enough, so we can choose our springs rate, thanx, i'm interested!!

No worries. What car is it for ?

Hopefully, i should be able to get all details confirmed this week for everyone.

Again, if anyone has any questions, just PM me!

Available for R32 (GTS/T)

Yes, should be available - but im still waiting for confirmation.

As with the previous post, i will try to confirm as much details as possible in the next week, so if anyone has any questions, now is the best time to ask!

I'm definately interested. I'm just going down to the bank today, so aslong as everything goes well there I can have you a deposit soon.

Will PM you.

Has anyone used these, how do they rate to other coilovers?

OK sounds good to me.

What car do u have?

No one has used these yet - except on the N1 Distribution Subaru WRX.

N1 are also in the final stages of throwing these coilovers onto some other cars like 200SX S14, and a Civic/Integra too.

Have also confirmed with N1 Disitrbution that you have an option of either "Street Use" or "Track Use" coilovers. both will be sold for the same group buy price of $1350/set (+ $200 for pillowball uppermounts) (+ shipping).

The difference is that the Track Use coilovers will come with dampers to cope with track use!

But as mentioned above, spring rates are still your choice!

hey are these still on? can you get them for a rx7 fc3s? how much would u think it ll cost for freight to Sydney?

hey there

unfortunately these are not available for FC3S - someone had previously asked me about them. Sorry

Hey mate.

Its for an r32 gtst. What sort of time are we looking at for these? Do you have to wait until you have atleast 10 people to place the order? Will PM you on the weekend to find out everything a transfer money.

Cheers.

yeah we need to have 10 orders confirmed for this to go ahead - but gauging from the interest so far (thru SAU, FireSport, and my friends) we should have enuf interest now or very soon.

I will repost final details over the weekend once i can confirm details with N1 Distribution. remember, all interstate buyers, please PM me!!

is this still on or not??? and how long does it take for these suspension to arrive in melbourne and ready to be picked up????

sorry about the delay - been trying to get details confirmed with N1, but they have had communication problems with the taiwan factory.

and this will still be going ahead so long as we have enough interest.

i will be posting final details on monday once i have a good long chat with N1.

sorry once again for the delays....

OK!

Sorry about the delays everyone.

At this point it appears we should have enough interest to get this thing goin!! :)

But the main point is that we still need to have a total of 10 orders at the end of this.

Sorry to all the ppl who are very keen to get this done ASAP - we just need to make sure this final stage runs smoothly to make sure we get them here ASAP!

Heres the deal:

Minimum 10 orders total required.

$1350 for a set of coilovers.

~16 level damper adjustable

~full ride height adjustable

~solid cast alloy construction.

~spring rates can be chosen between the range of 6K-13K.

+ $200 for optional pillowball uppermount

+ $80 installation by N1 Service Factory (Clayton, Victoria) if required

+ interstate packing and shipping costs.

NOTE -- all interstate buyers MUST PM me to confirm details of shipping method.

Here's how it will work:

- $600 non-refundable deposit is required ASAP [if u change your mind, or do not want to continue to purchase the coilovers AFTER the final order has been confirmed, then you will forfeit your deposit as the coilovers will be coming to australia, and then i am personally stuck with it! alternatively, you can arrange for someone else to take your order, but that is your own personal arrangement.]

- lead time is approx 4 weeks to arrive to Melbourne once the final order has been confirmed.

- the balance of the purchase will be payable upon pickup in Melbourne. [for interstate buyers, the balance will be payable before coilovers will be sent interstate]

phew... hopefully i've covered everything in this post.

if anyone has ANY questions, concerns, comments, donations  please PM me!!!

Forgot to mention that these coilovers come with a 1 Year Limited Warranty against leaking of the dampers.

If the dampers leak, N1 Distribution will replace the whole set of the coilovers - not just the individual damper which has leaked.

keep ur orders coming in guys.

if anyone has any questions, just let me know!

    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
