RB coil packs are they all the same

Does the whole series of RB's use the same coil packs ?. One needs replacing in my GTR and just want to be sure when I find a replacment .

I know there are different part numbers between some rb20 and 25 coils. They are interchangeable though. My Late model rb20 r32 had the same coils and part number as the coils in my rb25, where as some of my replacement coils i had as spares that i took out of another rb20 had a different number.

coil packs expensive? it seems it might be a possible problem with my R34. Will a diagnostic let you know if a coil pack is faulty?

nar not expensive can pick up a good second hand set for $100-200. Alot of people have been upgrading the split fire coils cause the std RB ones can have probs .

i saw a split fire pack for sale in the trader section for like $650!!!

Yes but $650 is cheap compared to the normal price charged of around $1000. Coilpacks usually sell second hand at wreckers for $95 each.

RB20DET + RB26DETT are the same

RB25DET run a different part number and shape.

RB25DET Neo are different again.

Yeah $1000+ is RRP for split fires, but don't worry, even if you did want them, you could get them for less than $700. If you just want stock, its going to be under $200 for the set.
