nah, nothing in the member section :D

ok, let's open the bidding with me voting for some teppanyaki this time. possibly at crows nest or willoughby (been to good places at both those locations).

GTRSRULE!!!11 you need to befriend someone in paradise city and get them to give you a lift. because I don't think proximity to a train station will be high on the priority list for most of our attending members... :D

having said that, for crows nest it's just a train to St leonards, then bus for 3minutes up the pacific h'way.

any other suggestions.

Richard....Teppenyaki can get messy....DO NOT wear a white shirt.......

Why not sushi ??? Makoto in city or chatswood ???

hehehehe....Thai Orchid anyone ???????

PS

The CB is working fine...I think I just bought a shit set of batteries that night......replaced the batteries only once after that and it has lasted several cruises....once again thanks !!!

we did go to nicks late last year and personally I thought it was pretty average. very much an aussie style pizza joint. ie. thick crusts with LOTS of topping.

teppanyaki is ok as long as you tell them "no it's not a birthday/bucks party and no we don't want the sh1t thrown at us". then it's quite relaxing, and damn fine food.

haha thai orchid. hmmm have we been there yet?

good to see the CB is going strong now. I was looking quite the stooge

Olde Castille in Bondi has the best pizzas out. They are super popular though and parking not great, which is ok now because after 20 odd years they have finally opened another store in Randwick.

We have never tried having a dinner in the east or south. 80% north 20% westish.

How about we go to the Willoughby Hotel ?

Its local, the food is great, its cheap and there is B E E R

The parking is ok and the area is safe

We need to think out of the Steak/Pizza/Jap square and go somewhere that has a bigger variety

Mal, I second the vote for the willoughby. they have Asahi on tap there, so it's kind of japanese...

plus they have awesome burgers there...oh and they sell battered fries!! battered fries!!! mmm fatty....

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
