oh my god... that was SO bad:( worst of all the burnouts were done by my friend AND during the middle of winter when the grass wouldnt grow! AHhhhhh!

oh well, its recovered well:)

i cant believe how nice it is driving around with a sunroof. the sun beams in, as does the fresh air. im extremely lucky to have found a car with a sunroof. i never thought id end up with one.

the front chin and sideskirts are also a bonus. the only slight dilema with these is that in places they are slightly coming away from the car. how should i fix this? maybe some really good double sided tape? ive noticed that double sided tape has already been used in places to hold both the side skirts and front chin in place.

thanks again for all your comments. all u guys are starting to feel like family:D

ta.

justin:)

Hey Nice one Greedy!

Greedy there is nothing better than at 5pm cruising past scarborough and take the coastal cruise with the sunroof open and the windows down..... now that is living! oh by the way... please don't stick your head out the sunroof at 140km/h down the mitchell freeway......it kinda hurts:uh-huh:

All the best to you and your ride..... have to check it out on the next cruise!

Shutup! Showoffs!

I searched for 6months trying to find a seriesII with a sunroof!! 6 MONTHS!! DAM YOU PEOPLE!

in the end I gave up! and YES, i rejected some VERY nice seriesII's (or just missed out on some, e.g DISCR33T's car) in looking for a sunroof!

cant wear a helmet in a car with a sunroof when ur over 6 foot

That's what I heard! I'm 6'3, so that was one reason. Also I just personally don't like the look of them, especially when they're closed. But that's all personal opinion.

Here she is :D

congrats on the purchase :)

Likewise! Even if you do have a sunroof :D.

You do have sideskirts though, lucky bastard! I'm getting them fitted while waiting for my plate to arrive. Can't believe they were an option.

very nice phil is that out the front of ultimate peformance imports in moorabbin?

Btw, anyone who is thinking of importing or compliancing, definately check out Ultimate Performance Imports. They go the extra mile and really worked to get me what I wanted (see above pic!). It's rare these days that you get good service, so I always reward it when it happens.

It should be on the road next week! Woohoo! :burnout:

    • I did basically the same procedure on a ZF6HP but the reason to pull the valve body is to replace the seals between the valve body and the transmission which are notorious for leaking pressure with age causing poor shifting and burning out the clutches. If you just wanted to exchange all the fluid you should be able to undo one of the transmission cooler return lines to drain into a bucket while using the pressure filler to keep it topped off.
    • The title should have posted "EFR7670 exhaust housing selection RB26" I can seem to edit thr title on my Android.
    • I'm looking for some real world experiences/feed back from anyone who has personally ran a EFR7670 with a 1.05 exhaust housing or a .83 I'm leaning towards the .83 because its a street car used mostly for spirited driving in the canyons roads. I"m not looking for big numbers on paper. I want a responsive powerband that will be very linear to 8000 rpm. I dont mind if power remains somewhat flat but dont want power to drop off on top. The turbo I've purchased is a 1.05, although the mounting flange T3 vs T4 and internal vs external waste gates are different on both housings, I not concern about swapping parts or making fabrication mods to get what I want. Based on some of the research I've done with chat gpt, the 1.05 housing seems to be the way to go with slightly more lag and future proofing for more mods but recommends .83 for best response/street car setup. AI doesn't have the same emotions as real people driving a GTR so I think you guys will be able to give me better feed back 😀
    • Surely somebody has one in VIC. Have you asked at any shops?  Is this the yearly inspection or did you get a canary?
