cops wont do shit[/quote

Im sure that the cops wont turn to cops, as its an organized event for car enthusiasts of japanese cars, to meet, cruise & socialize. If ppl attending behave themselves and not pull any stunts, then the cops shouldnt have any reason to defect/give a hard time to anyone. Lets just say that this event disaprooves of any illegal activities eg. drags, burnouts on public roads. To the local police surrounding the meet point- you are more than welcome to monitor the cruise.. as you certainly will be doing anyway.

I think you're being a little naive if you think all drivers who attend a large cruise event such as this will be well behaved. It WILL attract a certain number of dipshits who turn up and rip burnouts, etc. You may not condone the behaviour but it doesn't stop it from happening.

Having said that, good on ya for putting the effort into trying to organise cruises for Melbourne car enthusiasts! Hope the night runs smoothly for you.

:)

The cruise was ok... a bit dissapointing with the turnout though since the fkn cops did the blitz last weekend.. 2 many peepz that were defected during that blitz didnt want to attend.. a few guys lost track n past mordialloc, but most turned up at frankston. It was pretty fkn cold.. cops everywhere n a few got pulled over on the road. Overall it was o-k, next cruise will prob be later on this year.. not in this weather though. Im looking for more peepz to help out and organize future cruises and events with me, so if anyone has a plan or an idea, just msg me.

Club stickers will be ready in a couple of weeks time, as well as the official website of teamyakuza.

Thanks to all the guys who attended that made it worthwhile, espcially those who came all the way from altona!, which just shows

yeah i came along on the cruise - i was in the blue 32. It was ok, there weren't that many people there. Well organized though, and just for the record there was no display of any illegal activities at all.

Good job Springvale-boy. Looking forward to the next one.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
