youngsta
skyline....supras are ugly dude ugly? my TT RZ is beautiful.... and goes like a rocket. supra for me anyday... would only consider swapping for a 33 GTR with advanced mods/ 34 GTR Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73537-skyline-gt-t-r34-or-supra-rz/page/7/#findComment-2192302 Share on other sites
gdogzgtr
I have a TT RZ (AUTO) which is my misses car and in week or two hopefully will get my R33 GTR heavily modded 320KW. My supra has been lowered and has suspension upgrades along with 17*9 mags so handles fantastic also has traction control. Supra dynod at 220RWKW with Zhorst, pod and chip at 12psi. Traction much better than people think or maybe just mine with the upgrades as I can put my foot down flat out and have ever only lost traction very slightly which the traction control corrected straight away. In wet have gone hard to almost 5000 rpm and same thing but mine not standard so hard to say. Supra fantastic torque and almost bullet proof engine. Either way I am happy but IMO Supra more comparison with GTR. Sydneykid
I vote for an R32GTR with an RB31DET with the same amount of money spent. Lighter, more power and (best of all) 4wd, something a Supra simply doesn't have. Plus it's Godzilla and has a racing heritage second to none. Easy decision cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73537-skyline-gt-t-r34-or-supra-rz/page/7/#findComment-2193563 Share on other sites

gts-4 dreamer
tt supra for a daily any day, cruising is a f**king dream, give it a squirt and she pumps along like crazy, 2jz.... like many before me, is the my choice, awsome throughout the rev range, want to cruise low rpm, no problem,, want to bounce shy of redline and sure, throw small mods, i.e. exhuast, fmic and management, and your pulling allot more power that a gtt, the gtt would need an injector upgrade and a shite load of boost to keep up and last about 3/4 as long eh ? im an ass man, love the girls azz, luv the supra's azzz, the gtt lights are good, but the sup's front end is an ugly thing gtt with a gtr kit an they look awsome, get an aero tt and swap out the 6 sp getrag and the limo diff and wooooosa, sex on wheels wheres that dude with teh black aero tt MANUAL when you need him ? gdogzgtr
Having both supra and skyline I go on here and Supra forums. I am very impressed how unbiased skyline driver's are not knocking supra owners but if you posted R33GTR vs RZ Supra on their forums from what I have read it would be like 75% supra. Also I don't understand why most supra owners want 400+rwkw as RWD would have major troubles with traction. Even most modified GTR's on here are generally 300-350KW for track and only 400+ if set up for drags. gts-4 dreamer
2jz baby, give me a gtt with a vvti 2jz-gte swap .. and your prolly talking something big fun but you gota have the sequential twin setup... else it looses it for me, get all flopy and that's never good. but why bother, cheaper to just upg the neo det, hmmm wonder about installing a sequential setup into it eh ? for that added drivability wonder how those boys went with the uneven sized sequentials, hmmm small first screw and somhow have it flow enough to pump the big fan through the waste gate ? eh saw a vl with teh 2.5/3 L conversion somewhere that had a sequential twin setup.. gota dig that dirty website up . think i got it off here actually Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/73537-skyline-gt-t-r34-or-supra-rz/page/7/#findComment-2195081 Share on other sites

Anyway i pick an RZ over a gtt or gtr NE day. As for weight they both weigh about the same (stated in a few mags, HPI, Speed Mag. Oohhhh those look mad as, very nice ride. Don't find the supra look as classy and sytylish as the R34, but i can see the attraction.....initially! Shayde
When I was looking to buy a new car it was between R33 and Supra.. Makes this a bit of a tough decision. I didn't much like the shape of the R34 originally, but after seeing it in the flesh it looks pretty darn sweet. It is a tough choice between the two, but I'd choose the R34.
