What is v spec

Recommended Posts

I was only answering the man's question. "What does "v spec" imply on an R33 GTR?"

I'm a d1ckhead. I read R32

Yeah on an R33 or 34 its a different story, the Vspec is good option then if you can get it at a reasonable price.

Sorry bigsuly84

Easiest check is to look under the back and see if the diff cover is finned and has the active control hose feeds in from the right side of the diff.

Mine has the sticker, thought nothing of it when I bought it but decided to find out. Saw the differences in Pauls article and thought it was worth checking out but alas no A-LSD so the sticker is fake

The V-spec models were created to celebrate everytime nissan won a significant race event - usually JGTC..

If you go to the japanese nissan site and look through old news articles you can usually see..

anyways - that's a bit off track lol..

Whats M-spec then? I've seen a R33 GTS-T wit M-spec on it?

You didn't see 'M-Spec' you saw 'Type M'... the only 'M-Spec' available is for the R34 GT-R M-Spec.

ALL R33 GTS25t's are *Type M* (it's R32 GTS-t Type M too).
