OK gang here is your chance to have a night at WSID with other Skyines and race some zeds. Not all zed owners where cardigans so beware.

It will be a good night to promote the Nissan thing and if we get enough takers then WSID will accommodate some match racing. We will have our slot car there by they way.

For some insite on your competition and what they are bla bla ing about see this.

John , your seriously asking for it.. i know of a guy who has a 600bhp RX-7 FC which is winning every single race cup here down in melbourne for his league which is modified car cup or something arather...

If your willing to pay for his car to get there, im sure he'd bet you for money around a circuit.

:D

Good to see stiring up some action with you guys as too many shoulda gunna people out there in internet fairy land. A few blokes stepping up to the plate maybe. Hey 2rismo got your ears on?

Beer Baron that's not beer talk you coming and what's your GTR got?

As for the RX7 that one is not invited sounds like a candidate though and yes RX7 are very light and handle well. I would give it a run, maybe our track day at Oran 10th July.

If we get enough cars and good ones to this event I will get our new media guy Blair out to get some good pics and vids. Maybe HPI might even come or other mags as could be an event hey. Headlines, Zeds smash Skylines at WSID.

It's a street car, still registerd

weigh's in 1220kg with the driver :headspin:

but hey, he's in melbourne

I won't talk up the GTR too much, let's just say that it's a 10 second potential car with a WA tune, putting out 500awkw on stock injectors.

oops, I just did talk it up... d'oh

yeah, I'm coming, no beer talk. GTR has got f**k all in reality, but it's a GTR and can't loose, even with my fat ass as a weight penalty. :D

BTW, I'm mmmgtir reborn with a less (slightly) stupid user name.

Open to anyone in the public that meets the criteria. Own a Skyline and not a major Flop Head and have a drivers licence number.

In car transponders that are not and cannot be skyline bias adjusted, or zed by the way. South Circuit.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
