hey guys, just a quick note to say thanks to everyone that helped me out yesterday morning (for those that dont know i blew a rear tyre on drakeford dr at 6am and had nothing to change the tyre with)

after waking up half of the local forum members i was finally able to be helped by Andrew (skygtrline) but a huge thanks goes out to Jayce and Erica, Ewen, Cassi (who i woke up twice) Nik (who i woke up once) and supaflyskyline.

Although most of us would have been furious about the situation, i was'nt. It made me realise what a great little community i'm a part of (im the fruity part by the way) what made it even more impressive was the fact that because i was using a different phone to mine i only had Jayce's number, yet by calling him, i was able to get the numbers of other members who were finally able to get me Andrews number.

another huge thanks for Andrew's help by the way!

so cheers local lads and lasses, your a great group and im happy to call you all friends

(cartman voice).....except Ewen, Jayce, Erica, Nik, Cassi, Andrew, Andrew and eveyone else, cause i serioulsy hate you guys!

well i didnt have a space saver, (mum brought one out but was grumpy as all hell and i told her to go home)

but if someone had brought out a 17" tyre that would have done it.

But the actual problem lay in getitng a 10ml socket or spanner to take off one of my outer nuts before i could access the lock nuts.

(cartman voice).....except Ewen, Jayce, Erica, Nik, Cassi, Andrew, Andrew and eveyone else, cause i serioulsy hate you guys!

hahaha jokes (albiet harsh) we love ya! wanna man hug?

Dude, if it had been monday or today i would have driven right past you, i'm down that way at 6am for training on those days. too bad mate, just bad luck. good thing there were heaps of other people willing to help

bahaha i will pay that call :Owned:

Thought now ive done you the fav i can call you anytime for one to

"Someday - and that day may never come - I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as gift on my daughter's wedding day. "

Well talk about Karma Andrew, i copped a flat tyre tonight in Curtin. luckily i had all the gear to fix it. my space saver is blue i found out. anywho, off to the tyre shop for me tomorrow, wehn i pulled my wheel off i've worn it down to the steel belts on the inside

To add to the "warm + fuzzy" post;I'd like to thank our SAU'ers for "running defence" on the way home from Wakefield Park yesterday afternoon. SkylineBabe, SupaFly Skyline, Amaru, VeilsideR33, and DJ Hatton all drove back with me in the rain(!!),knowing that the Police were about, and that I was very limited to road conditions that prevailed(trackday rubber and cold, wet roads AREN'T a good mix). They coulda left me behind, but maybe the thought of a convoy of R32's appealed more! Damn,we musta looked GOOOOOD! Thanks, crew; it was very much appreciated!

Sig: I have no idea how to post, host or edit videos im completely hopeless, if your ever at Jerra or the museum then let me know and i'll bring it out, but its literally only about 40seconds.

i reckon we looked great, altho im surprised you werent squirming around with your "stickys" on

Yeah,I was suprised too! I was expecting to have at least a few "moments" on the way home, but it didn't occur... .Lucky,I guess!

Man, if Stolly or my turbo were a little less soft I'd have been right there (filling in that red gap).... :P

Next time I spose. If my car ever runs properly again :P

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
