Hi all...

I live in Melton and it seems to be the one place you dont want to own a skyline. Although i have seen a few around.

I moved here about 3 months ago from Newcastle and have been pretty much flat out with work since i got here.

My 33 has been in need of a service for a while and Im after any info of where to take it around my area.

Thanks

for a cheap yet thorough service, i can HIGHLY recommend:

highpoint automotive

obviously located at highpoint shopping centre (maribrynong)

across the road at the end of white street

ph 9318 2076

guy who runs it is Paul and is a friend of the family. he is a very good mechanic and doesn't charge and arm+leg like the more fancied places

obviously if you are after a dyno tune then this is not your place, but for any kind of service or repair, you can't go wrong...

tell him that Warren with the Blue skyline recommended you

when i had my NA 33 i took it to nissan in melton for a full service (im from bacchus marsh), wouldn't really recommend them, i could have done the same job myself.

about to do the next stage for my gtst and will be taking it into someone who has decent knowledge, rather than someone who is close to me.

i really think it is worth travelling for the peace of mind.

yea cept it has dark tint, a korn sticker and VIC plates now.

There is actually an identical 33 in Melton but it has 5 stud wheels.

I have the identical car as yours lol. With standard rims and tinted windows parked @ the pub on High street I think. :) I had my badges ripped off when I parked @ the back of my work place =/

Yep thats the one.

What a coincidence.

You might have seen my car parked down the road outside dominos lately...?

Thats where i work.

We do our own servicing as a general rule but if I was going to take our cars anywhere it would be to see Nick @ the pit stop oil change on Pascoe Vale Rd.. one of our good friends, honest, owns a 32 of his own, knows what hes talking about.. :) he's helped us put on exhausts and a whole bunch of other stuff. Saturday is a good day to go there..

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
