They were ~$250 until  :D SOMEONE :D  blabbed about how useful they were and then the price went up. :(

At least this time it wasn't me, unlike the R32GTST wastegate actuators, they used to be ~free until I opened my big mouth. :P

:) cheers  :)

Whats the go with the actuators? When i replaced my turbo the guy i got it off said it had a 32 actuator. I thought nothing of it.

Whats the difference?

ta :D

How do you know? And have you replaced it?

had to change to 4 inch intake made from mild steel, because the gt30 has a 4 inch bell mouth. had to swap to 1bar cannister because the one that comes with theturbo is only rated at 7psi and therefore you would be lucky to hold anymore psi on high boost. hopes this helps gunmetal grey. if you have anymore queries pm me my in box is now been cleared.

You wouldn't bloody well believe it would you.

About 6 months ago, I bought a turbo, which I thought was a stock R34 GTT turbo.

I just recieved my turbo from Dennis this morning. Initially I thought, SHIT, the dude has ripped me off, and I've got a stock R34 GTT Turbo. They are identical in every way.

So, I looked back through some pictures and measurements that cubes has made, and it looks a hell of a lot like I've had a VG30DET hybrid in my office for 6 months.

Goddamn it!

anyway, to confirm, does anybody have pics of a standard R34 GTT turbo? I thought I did, but I don't.

PS. After I confirm 100% that I have two VG30DET turbos in my office, I will be selling the one that's currently advertised as a stock R34 GTT turbo.

Who wants??

BASS OUT

Can somebody either confirm or deny this?

Peter,

the turbo is definately a hybrid vg30 and r33 that i sold to you. As for r34 rear exhaust housing my mate had it on his car and it's the same as r33. I have confirmed with GCG Turbo and the vg30 rear housing which i bought and highflow is exactly the same as the one i sent to you. Well perhap you have sourced yourself a hybrid but didn't know about it and because anything is possible from Japan!

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
