shouldnt the scale be the other way around? with 10 being completely analy violated, and 1 being a couple of hours of a DIY on the weekend job

ur looking at about a 5

its an easy job if ur good with a spanner

u will need to pull the box and find the part

and u may aswell do a clutch with it

but apart from that u shouldnt have to any problems

I have had a similar problem in the past. The side of the housing broke and my clutch was bending to the left.

Cost? I got mine from a compliance workshop for about $50. It was put in while getting a new clutch, but if you got any idea, it would be a do it yourselfer.

Compliance workshops are the best for spare parts. They usually have a car that they are wrecking, and parts are bountifull and cheap. eg I needed a lower control arm for a 180sx. Local parts shop quoted about $200... workshop $30 with new bushes.
