YES IT DOES I HAVE RECENTLY HAD THE STOCK TURBO CLUTCH FITTED

Hi everyone,

I'll be up for a new clutch soonish, and wanted to go a heavy duty option.

I was thinking that the stock turbo clutch would be ideal - if it fits. I went to Nissan and asked them and they said they were different and would not fit.

However I think I remember reading that NA_R33 had the stock turbo clutch?

Can anyone confirm if it fits or not? Also I remember reading that skylines changed from push to pull type clutches at some point - does anyone have specifics of this?

Thanks,

Greg

I've had my clutch sussed out by Jim Berry thought it was a GTST - and it turned out to be more closely rated to a GTR one. ( It fits and it does the job so i'm not gunna question it)

However Greg, I believe that there "officially" is no such thing as a Series 1.5 - just a series 1 with some series 2 options. ie. airbags, etc (cud be wrong)

hope this helps

yeah true series 1.5 is just a term we made up to describe a series 1 with series 2 components.

i'll have to determine if mine is push or pull (from the posts here i gather it will be push) and from then determine what my options are.

EDIT: i was auditing Exedy and bought a clutch while i was there. It is a GTS25t push type clutch, so will effectively be a "heavy duty" clutch for my application.
