Hell Yeah!!

I had 265's on my R32 GTSt without rolled guards...

The impotant thing to get right is the wheel offset...

I don't know what offset you will need, maybe try asking aroung for someone who's running on 275's and check their wheel offset...

ps: Also seen 265's on an S13 without rolled guards...

Doc.

You may find your running wheels meant for a GTR with a bigger offset??

Maybe you could find out your offset so we can take a bit off that to make the wheel sit in further...

I bet ther's still heaps of room on the inside to move inwards...

I have 265 35 18 on the back of my 33 and have no problems with standard suspension or lowered with coilovers offset is + 34

on 9ins rims

255 40 17 on 9.5ins rims offset + 40 were fine on stock, but fouled spring on coilover. They fit no problems on Mick's R32 with rolled guards once we rebalanced them without clipon weights on the inner rim

245 40 17 on 8.5ins rims offset +30 fit fine on both cars

My car was running 265/45/17's on 9inch rims, the car is lowered with coilovers. The rear wheels have about 40mm rim offset and everytime I go over a bump the guard digs in to the outside of the tyre.

So I think alot will depend on whether the car is lowered, what rim offset you run and the size of the rim. This is what happens with my car, so if your planning on putting 275's on then make sure that they won't rub before you pay for them.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
