Stagea RS-Four - Thanks mate!! :D She's coming along nicely. RB26 + Box will be going in shortly ;) Wheels were about $3k with new rubber, a few spots need repairs tho.

Sambo - thanks mate, i love night shots.

Do you have a tripod?

and what camera are you using??

Coz you need to use a much longer shutter to get more of the car in the shot......well more of it that isn't in the darkness!! :D;)

My monitor is colour calibrated and they are pretty dark shots.

I see in one shot there is a light down the road, try and park the car under that next time, should be able to get away with using a shorter shutter speed too.

That things going to be a beast! I'm considering dropping an RB26 into mine, but I dont really have that soughta money right now... Looking forward to seeing it all come together... BTW, where did you purchase the rims from? ;)

Hey NRGIZD, yeah I have some others from parking under that but they are not on this PC.

yeah tripod and Canon IXUS 40. So nothing special.

How did the one's under the lights come out???

You'd be very surprised at what you can get outta of that camera!! :O But the whole no manual control kinda sucks a bit on them, might be easier to do "night" shots at dusk with it.

The melb guys will freak when l turn up to a meet with my camera!! ;)

Prank I am glad to see a silver Stagea with the R34 GTR Mags as I am thinking of getting the same for mine. Do you have some side on shots of the whole car. Any daytime shots too? Post or email me would be great! [email protected]

Also do the mags fit under the guards nicly or are the slightly too big? Is there room to go larger than 245's to maybe 265 or 285's?

Thanks

emanuel, I think theres some side-on daytime shots in my gallery, click the link above. I have 235's on mine so they fit under the guards ok, but I am sure you could do 245's ok but i wouldnt go bigger than that, not without flaring the guards. I rolled my guards, but thats all. I am considering getting the front and rear guards flared soon, will let you know.

Christian

Nice I'm going to save up for those rims too!

Quick cut and paste pic of your wheels onto mine!

I asked about tyer size becuase I have seen a set on a 260RS with 285 and they fitted perfect. I priced the michelin pilot rubbers in that size and found they were arounf $750 each tyre!!! very expensive!!

Nice photos Prank, the night gives it a nice look.

For your info, those side skirts look very similar (ie the same) to the ones Ive got on my Dayz Special Edition stagea.

The Dayz bodykit rocks.

Search 'CoolPC' in the forums for more photos of my silky white pearl series 1 stag (I bought his stagea about 6 weeks ago).

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
