If you are asking why I say that when reffering to the blonde comment, (even though I am), it is because you said nuh the above quoted.

My fire story please.

you'll just annoy them if u do - if they had everyone calling up everyday about their plates aghhh.

You'll get them when u get them no matter how much u phone - these are govt workers we're talking about

so you recommend calling up everyday?

Recommend, endorse, same thing..

Remember to call the centre that your plates are arriving AT...

FYI: Got mine from east perth, after i picked them up, another week later the letter came saying "your plates are now ready!" DUH!

My fire story, please.  I have asked nicely.

I will blab alot more in a minute if you don't tell me the fire story.  I only ask that you PM it.  You have not even replied yet.

*whistles and kicks the dirt* now now, patience young one! You will know in good time.. (i'm SO talking-up a crappy story huh?)

If i told everything at once there'd be no interesting stories for later *smirk*

That can't be the only story. Just tell me.

Everyone I asked can't really remember much.

Was it a demountable, or bush, tell me!

P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E, what does that mean.

Yes, I am a blonde, why did you wanna know? Have you seen me at Daniels or on the cruise or something?

    • I mean I agree. I've seemingly never had issues and I have RS4's in the rain, but I drive pretty slow in the rain, and I commute around on the street and pretty much never push it. But it's not like you're going to uncontrollably slide off the street with them in the rain. At least here in Aus. And I say this before I drive to Tassie in Winter. AS above, the term "Semi" is a bit of a misnomer. The ContiSportContact7 is also a "Semi" or a "UHP" tyre. It's the same category as an AD09 in any case.
    • These are not semis. None of the tyres in that comparo are semis. They are UHP tyres. Perfectly streetable. I'm on my second set of AD09, after using a couple of sets of AD08R. On the street. Every day. I get 15-20 thousand km out of them, which is perfectly acceptable. They are a really nice tyre to drive on. I have few, if any, complaints.
    • You'd hope, if it came from ACS, that it wouldn't be that.
    • Or the brand new throwout may be unhappy...
    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
