Morning Niz one more day huh.:(

Hey paul i know ure out there, remeber how when the main whoring started no1 could prove u were the ring leader? i guess this is proof huh :P just messing with ya as u cant say anything back :(

How cool was the fog this morning that rulz, so many tools not turning on their lights. *sigh*

The mighty Hyundai feels the wrath of thieves!!!

Well well well,

What a crap night I had last night. On the way home battling freeway traffic the girlfriend and I decided to stop for food at a fast food joint.... We headed down Canning Hwy to the Hungry Jack's and had dinner....

... Well, the next thing that happened suprised the hell outta me, as we were walking back to the car a nice lady ran upto us and said "Is this your car ?" we were like "Ummm, Yeah, why?" she then informed us that she saw someone smash the passenger window, reach in and grab a bag and then take off in a dark coloured car....(luckily she got the rego!) My girlfriend drives a stock-as-a-rock Accent btw... nothing to attract attention to it at all!

Thieves had jammed a screwdriver of some kind into the bottom of the the window and levered it up until the window shattered into a million pieces, glass was everywhere dammit!

Thinking my gf's bag was stolen from the front seat I thought "oh crap" then I realised she took it into HJ's with us, however my bag was on the back seat and they took it! Bastards!

In the bag was my work diary/book, Taxation forms, Finance crap, Insurance crap, some very important CDs with backup data etc, my Quicksilver jacket, and the bag was a Rip Curl one too. just to put icing on the cake..

So we called the police and told them everything, then we call the insurance company and book the car in to get it fixed the next day (today).... okay, so we drop off the car this morning to the smash repairs and I drove my girlfriend to work, as now she wont have a car for the next few days and has to pay her insurance excess too!

On the way to work I get a call from a man who went on his morning walk all the way out Embleton-way (the stuff was stolen in South Perth!) who said he'd found my diary, cd's and paperwork on the side of the road.. phew! what a relief!

So in summary: There are some mighty nice people around like the lady that tracked us down and gave us the rego, and the man who found my stuff and called me.... it honestly suprises me that people did that for a complete stranger, i guess we were just lucky.

However this still doesn't bring back my $180 jacket and $80 bag.... but still.. at least I got my paperwork back!

Okay, so that's my rant for this morning :P

Vspec asked me to post this

"Post this

The fog was kinda cool, but when your tired it kinda helps put you back to sleep.

I'm not the ring leader, just the catalyst for whoring

See'ya"

Hvae u tried a new login Paul?might be worth a shot in teh temp, I know it wont count to ure all imortant post count but its hould be good in teh meantime.

    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
    • I'm interested,do you still have it?
