Guys,

I have a 33 with a FMIC, 3 1/2 exhaust, POD, Apexi Power FC

I would like to know approx settings people are using in their Power FC as mine is running bad atm... At about 4-5grand under full lead will start surging and exhaust popping noise.

Only running 8 psi atm...

Settings under:

Ign Map

Inj Map

AirFlow

Injector

Boost

Acceler.

Ign/Inj

Cranking

Wtr Temp

Rev/Idle

Now i know these may not work the same as your car thats been tuned, but hopefully will run better than the current settings..

Any help would be great, thanks...

I am going to get it tuned in just under a month, but till then would like to know some settings...

ok, well, when I was in the same boat as you, I ran 11psi and the car ran fine. Maybe the extra boost helped the car lean out a little and run better.

I had 0 knock, so I'd suggest gapping your plugs, and gonig for a drive and watching your knock levels. If it starts knocking, wind the bost back 1 psi slowly till it stops or is under 20% knock.

Be very careful thought, if it knocks, BACK OFF the f**king throttle. Adjust the boost right away.

But the best thing, get it to a tuner asap. I did, and now I am running 210rwkw, as opposed to 140rwkw with the standard pfc maps.

Standard pfc maps at 13psi gave 160rwkw. Not bad I say.

if your getting a bad run or surge then watch the knock and turn the boost down till you get it tuned or at least the afr's checked. you shouldnt need to adjust any of those settings as the defaults are fine for most cars

    • I'll bite. I no longer own any euro's, but I thought I'd share two of my favorites I owned. My 500hp B5 S4 and my 800HP E55 AMG. Yes I did attempt to drive the E55 in Canadian winters, that lasted all of a month as it was a death trap.
    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
