Mfd For A Gtr

Hey guys,

I have a mate who is looking for as he puts it " the screen telly thing out of the r34 gtr"

i belive its called a Mfd but anyway u no what im talking about.

Need some information on weather they can be installed in a R34 gtt and still work successfully or if they are limited to a GTR.

Also would like an estimated cost of the unit and how hard they are to install. Thanks....

What exactly does it do, as in do you use it for settings and tuneing or is it basicly just a display for information gathered by the ecu ? i also under stand u can connect it up to tv or dvd / aux ... and ideas how much a tv turner is ....

what do they talk to? the ecu or separate sensors or both and are they ecu dependent? i.e. mfd off r32 standard ecu??

Yes you can. Yes it's a pain in the ass. No they don't fit very well.

I'm guessing you could achieve the same aim with a laptop and a consult interface.
